Happy Leap Day
Here are a couple of interesting leap year facts.
Technically, leap years aren't every 4 years. There's a
leap year every year that is divisible by 4, except for
years that are both divisible by 100 and not divisible
by 400. The year 2000 was a leap year, but the years
1700, 1800 and 1900 were not. The chances of a person
having a leap day birthday are one in 1,461. Let us know if
you are one of them. |

Mark your calendars so you don't miss the Hospitality
Committee's March event on March 15th. On the menu will be
baked potatoes with toppings. We'll bring you the details
soon.

Team Roping
No, this wasn't a rodeo event. The volunteer team of Frank McCabe and Bill Pratt spent
a good bit of time installing close to 200 cups hooks to secure the rope lights in the Ramada to the beams. Nice work!

Water Workout
Linda Sielken has posted a schedule for afternoon water aerobics. If you're ready for a joint friendly,
heart healthy workout, check the list posted on the pool gate.

Book Discussion Group
The group will meet at the Ramada at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday to
discuss 'The Girl Who Came Home: A Novel of the Titanic'. We'll also talk about the February selection, 'The House We
Grew Up In'. New members are always welcome.
